Last night, someone looked you up.

We build the thing that answers for you.

Enter the studio

They did not call first, and they did not ask anyone. They typed your name, gave what came back a few seconds, and decided.

A studio, not a service. We take on a limited number of clients.

The house

Three disciplines, one monthly fee.

A website is the only part of a business that speaks to everyone, and it is almost never given anything to say. These are the three things we hold, together rather than sold separately.

  • Identity

The name, the mark, the voice, the palette. Drawn for your business and then held to across everything you publish — so the site, the invoice and the shopfront all sound like the same company.

  • The website

Written by hand, line by line, around what your customers actually came to find. Designed on a phone first, because that is where nearly all of them arrive.

  • The keeping

The part most studios charge for twice. Hosting, certificates, patching, new pages, new products, new ideas — for as long as you stay, with no change fee and no ticket queue.

Craftsmanship

Every line, written by hand.

There is no builder behind this page. No theme, no plugin stack, no drag-and-drop canvas quietly writing four hundred kilobytes of markup on your behalf. Every element you are looking at was typed.

That is not nostalgia. It is why these pages open in a fraction of a second on a handset with two bars of signal, why search engines can read them without being coaxed, and why a change you ask for in the morning is usually live by the afternoon — there is nothing in the way.

The comparison, in full, is set out in our guide to hand-coded sites versus Wix and WordPress.

Discretion

We don’t publish our clients.

Most studios lead with a wall of logos. We take the opposite view: the people we build for did not hire us in order to become our marketing.

So there is no gallery here, no client list, and no screenshots lifted from work we were paid to do quietly. If you want to see the standard, ask on the call and we will show you privately — with our clients’ permission, which we ask for every time.

The Impact Programme

Some of our best work is given away.

Voice for All is an initiative of TDMF Group. Alongside the commercial work, we set aside professional capacity each cycle for a small number of South African non-profit organisations — at no cost, with no obligation, and no expectation of future business.

Sometimes that is a website. More often it is a donation flow, an intake form, a database or a report that was quietly eating a staff member’s week. The work, the files and the data stay owned by the organisation.

Before you commit to anything

We will read your current site, and tell you the truth about it.

Send us the address. We go through it properly and send back an honest written reading — what is working, what is quietly costing you enquiries, and what we would change first.

You keep it either way. If the fixes are small enough to do yourself, we will say so and tell you how. We would rather be useful than pushy.

Not ready to send anything? Start with our guide to what a website actually costs in South Africa — market rates for every route, and the running costs quotes leave out.

  1. You send your web address — that is the whole ask.
  2. We use the site the way your customers do, on a phone and on a desktop.
  3. You get the reading back in writing, usually within two working days.
  4. No follow-up sequence and no obligation. If you want to talk, you tell us.

The person looking you up today
will not look twice.

They have already decided you are worth checking. What happens in the next few seconds is the only part still in your control.

One thing worth saying plainly. We do not take on every project that comes to us. If what you need is a template filled in quickly and cheaply, we are the wrong studio, and we will say so on the call rather than take the work.
